If you hear a low whistle, get out of the shower.

The 5 year-old I babysit wanted to make puppets today…

Don’t worry, she totally made fun of me.

Netflix PSA…

Apparently The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes is expiring from Netflix Instant on January 1st. (along with many others)

So if you wanna watch it, get on that!

If you haven’t seen it… get on that. Moffat and Gatiss often reference that awesome film as their inspiration.

Ok this is the second day in a row that I’ve gotten to my babysitting job early and watched Little Bear with the 5 year-old I watch… and THE SECOND TIME they’ve had a Sherlock Holmes themed episode.

Yesterday he walked around with a deerstalker and magnifying glass, saying “It’s elementary!”

Today he was “Little Sherlock Bear” and looked for clues to find who stole a pie.

HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME????

Well, I’m using your methods, Holmes.

I like thinking about how Sherlock Holmes brings people together, and then how Basil refused to keep playing him after Nigel died, and Jeremy and Edward were like brothers, and Robert has a giant mancrush on Jude, and Benedict always lights incandescently up when Martin appears.
